David H. Bollman has been a professional artist for the over 30 years and hopefully will continue to create and inspire for the next 30 years.

David's career began in the 7^th grade when he took a correspondence course in taxidermy where he learned about anatomy, forms and structure. He credits his years of taxidermy as a major influence in his ability to paint the details that he paints. He has won many awards with his art but is most pleased to be known as a sporting/wildlife artist.

David feels as an artist one has to adapt to the "market". Therefore, wildlife art is not his only strength. One of his specialties is painting dog portraits. His subject matter has become diversified to include 3-D sculptured art such as the "Badge of Honor" in front of the Sterling Heights Police Dept. as well as the waterfall fountain inside the Sterling Inn Hotel. David has been commissioned to paint several murals and decorative art in homes and businesses.

Some of his hobbies include gourmet cooking fishing, hunting and taking care of "Redneck" his orphaned red squirrel.
